Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist
In this role, you will have the chance to be a well rounded therapist providing services in-clinic, in-home, and online.
Responsibilities
..... Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the unique needs of pediatric clients
..... Developing individualized treatment plans that promote the improvement of fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and self-care abilities.
..... Implementing therapeutic interventions that are engaging and tailored to each child's interests and developmental level.
..... Monitoring progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
..... Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care and support for each child.
..... Providing education and resources to families to empower them in their child's journey.
..... Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and outcomes in compliance with company policies and standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach to care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
